Individuals react differently to different drugs and while they may be successful for some people, they don’t work for everybody, and can have undesirable side effects. ![]() There’s a wide range of drugs, which includes anti-psychotics, anti-hyperactives and anti-depressants, but none that have been developed specifically for Tourettes. While there’s no cure, there are some treatments available that can help control the symptoms. Observing and evaluating the symptoms is the only way to diagnose Tourettes, but there are rating scales to help assess the severity of people’s tics.
